Recipe for a little haven of life:
Recipe for a little haven of life:
A few mixed seeds.
A little soil.
A little water.
A lot of love.
Put it all together and let it sit and wait…. wait… wait…
Nature takes care of the rest:
Sprouted seeds.
The first leaves of the seedlings.
Growth that is almost visible at a glance.
The buds soon give way to the first flowers.
While the petals have faded, the first fruits appear.
Observe, smell, touch, marvel !
When the fruits are ripe, pick, crunch and enjoy !
In the land of the cedars
Many will tell you that this is a small country but it is not.
If only they had taken the measure of it by the rhythm of their footsteps… they would not have said the same thing to you.
Welcome to Lebanon!
Come, I’ll take you walking with Loedi and P’tit Jo in the heart of the mountains!
We will follow the purple and white markings of the Lebanese Mountain Trail (L.M.T.), the first long distance hiking trail in Lebanon.
Why the purple colour? Because the purple of Tyr (a coastal city in the south of Lebanon) is a purplish red dye made from molluscs, which the invention is attributed to the Phoenicians.
With the tent in the backpack and the drawing board under the arm, we will walk for eight days, from the Horsh Ehden natural reserve to the village of Baskinta. From north to south, in the heart of the Christian mountains.
Are you ready? Let’s go…
Swinging in the storm
Keep smiling through the turmoil,
Keep adding colour to your life when it gets dark,
Ignore the fear and hold on to the light,
The storm will pass… it’ll be fine, don’t worry!
Sea… sun… holidays !
The sea… the sun… and a so welcome break in this beautiful place !
But where can Loedi be ?
The birth of butterflies
Did you imagine that butterflies emerge from their pre-woven cocoons?
Loedi thought so too, until she discovered this wonderful place and witnessed the birth of butterflies.
The “Sahayak” or helper in hindi
This is the first animation of a small series on the characters that cannot be ignored in Indian railway stations.
The luggage carrier is easily recognizable with his red shirt and his cotton scarf carelessly put on the shoulder, waiting to be rolled up on the head like a shock absorber between the skull and the luggage.
No trolley… the Sahayak carries everything with his arms and especially with his head! Always looking for a new customer, he never shies away from the task even in the heart of the hot season.
How brave !
The encounter with the octopus
Loedi discovers a sunken city whose zinc roofs are not unknown to her.
Suddenly… a giant tentacle wraps itself around her foot and pulls her in !
Loedi tries to resist by grabbing a chimney but in vain, the rusty metal gives way and she is sucked into the octopus’ lair.
The Hikkers Robots
Which one of those robots would you like to have with you for you next trek ?
The small moving hut will keep you warm during those long winter nights with its wood burning stove. Its glass dome will allow you to admire the stars without stepping outside ! During day time, the hut will follow you on the trails without being driven.
The umbrella fixed on the backpack will perfectly protect you by automatically tilting and rotating as per the direction of the rain and the position of the sun.
The removable deck will take you above the treetops so that you can enjoy a starry sky.
The backpack with paws can takes the lead and support you for the last kilometers of a tiring walking day.
The intelligent basket will be able to identify for you all the eatable plants, mushrooms, fruits and roots so that you can safely accomodate our meals.
So, which one will you take with you ?
